Nominees to be Announced for the 3rd Annual Soflo Dancehall & Reggae Music Awards Show

 The 3rd Annual South Florida Dancehall and Reggae Music Awards Show will announce nominees on

Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

From January 4th - February 5th, fans casted their nominees to determine the best of the best in

People's Choice Categories &

 Reggae Music Industry Categories.

Hosted by international radio personality and prominent event host, Slim City, the nominee announcement will be web casted live on RiddimsTV.com at 9:30 pm (ET) in Miami, FL. The web cast will provide information on the nominees, ticket prices, official hosts, sponsors, performing artist and much more. Fans and members of the press will be able to ask questions during the announcements in the live, interactive chat room provided by RiddimsTV.com.

The official twitter account for the Soflo Dancehall and Reggae Music Awards will conduct a live twitter party and will be giving 3 lucky fans tickets to the 3rd Annual Soflo Dancehall & Reggae Music Award Show during the nominee announcement. Be sure to follow them on twitter at @sofloawards and use trending topic #sofloawards for a chance to win.

The final Soflo awards winners will be revealed on Sunday, March 20, 2011 during the awards show at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Theater located at 1770 Monroe Street, Hollywood, FL.

Now in its 3rd year, the South Florida (Soflo) Dancehall and Reggae Music Awards acknowledges and honors the accomplishments and contributions of entertainers and entrepreneurs of the Reggae and Dancehall industry. Created in 2008, the Soflo Music Awards was a brain child of a non-profit organization, Single Mothers of America, which is administered by individuals of Caribbean decent.  SMOA wanted to find a way to get their messages across and include the Caribbean community, it was then the award show was established.
